This piece started as something darker and gloomier, but I tore it up to let something hopeful shine through. 2020 has been a crazy year for so many reasons and it is easy for me to fall into despair.
I'm deciding to fight against gloom and doom, and I am hoping for the best regarding the pandemic, the election, BLM issues, and everything else that is so troubling. This piece represents a lot of how I feel about the world right now.
