I like to up-cyle and reuse vintage materials, so sometimes I paint on reclaimed glass. I paint in reverse on the far side, so you are looking at the paint through the glass. It is interesting to paint in reverse--the order is painted in reverse--so I have to sign the paintings early on--and the image itself is reversed. The original frames contribute to the one-of-a-kind feel of these pieces.
