Portholes
An artist I know saw a laundromat going out of business, with washer and dryer doors on the floor, and thought of me. I like to use reclaimed materials in my art, and I often reverse-paint on glass. I got in touch with the owners of the business, and my porthole series was born. I have painted dozens of "portholes," as I've been able to find more of the circular windows, now painting on both old and new materials.
