"Ike" Robot

After we digitized our home movies, I saved the tapes for art because they looked like cute robot faces to me.

"Ike" features a large VHS tape from our video tape collection. His hand clamps function to hold notes or small objects. Ike's name comes from one of my dad's vintage tie-tacks for Dwight D. Eisenhower which I have incorporated. 

Video cassette, wood, electrical clamps, found objects and hardware with spray paint and epoxy resin.
