I love that this word can be used as a verb to decribe action, or an adjective to describe a quality. Both are parts of effective leadership.

On International Women's Day, Joe Biden signed executive orders creating a Gender Policy Council in the White House, and directed the Department of Education to review existing regulations to guarantee an educational environment free from discrimination on the basis of sex.

The previous administration made it harder for college students to report sexual assault, and made it easier for colleges to avoid responsibility when assaults took place off campus. Biden's direction should restore protections.
